The SCCFA is a not-for-profit regional trade association whose mission is to meet the needs of its members through service and education focused on industry issues and legislation in the region, to promote ethical practices, and to provide leadership in the memorialization industry.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Joan Sawyer. Joan was the owner of several Atlanta area cemeteries. She was a Past President of the SCCFA, and was honored with the SCCFA Lifetime Achievement Award in 2011. Joan was a mentor to many and a true role model to women in the profession. Services for Joan will be held on Friday, April 16th at 11:00AM at Lincoln Cemetery, 2275 Joseph E Boone Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30314

Presenter Proposals now being accepted
The SCCFA will be selecting speakers/presenters for their upcoming 2021 Convention in Hilton Head, SC on June 20-22 and is asking for all interested presenters to complete an submit your presentation proposal form for consideration by February. The theme for our 2021 Convention is - R & R at the Beach (R=Resilience and Reinvention)
